Freedom of Information (FOI) requests are a great tool in your arsenal. A much underused resource. And don’t forget the Government email Archives are accessible too, especially if Government officers lie (no, really!) and say they have no documents which satisfy your request.
This is how Mr Ferguson found the following emails and with them successfully sued his principal (Coral O’Neill who subsequently ran away to WA to escape prosecution for instructing Her boss Hayes to delete Government records) and Regional Director (Hylton Hayes) for defamation. Hayes reportedly laughed when told that Educ Dept would pay his personal bill of $5000 for the defamation. O’Neill cost them dearly too.

It’s very easy: CEs separate the management from the staff below them. “I must protect my senior management at all costs” Ken Davies once told an Educ Union high-up. If they start to treat the management the same way as they treat the teachers/nurses/those below them then everyone would be fired and there would be no management left, give or take the odd one or 2 and the system would collapse.
CEs like Davies and Notaras will only be “let go” if their conduct upsets the relevant Minister too much.
Your targets therefore should be the Ministers, enough BS and hassle comes their way (via blogs and Newspaper articles for eg) and the heat will be truly on the CEs.
Don’t ever expect the whatever-Dept to deal with anything properly, their reason for existing is to protect their fellow senior managers and by default themselves too. “I’ll protect your crap this time and you’ll protect mine next time.” It’s an easy game to play for them.
TARGET the Ministers. Bombard them with emails, complaints, FOIs (yes you can FOI Ministers and their Depts/Offices too), bury them under paperwork, phone them, demand meetings, ask for reviews.
And what does a Minster fear the most? Being voted out. So tell them, if they don’t act for real change then you’re going to get all your friends and neighbours to vote against them. The next election is only 12 months or so away…..NOW IS THE TIME TO ACT AGAINST THE RELEVANT MINISTERS.
TARGET THEIR BRAND.
CONTACT THE AREAS WHERE THEY RECRUIT STAFF FROM, LET THEM KNOW THE TRUTH TOO, INTERSTATE UNIVERSITIES/NEWSPAPERS, OTHER ONLINE FORUMS, ETC.
FIND A LAWYER OR 5 TO FILE PAPERS AGAINST THEM IN THE FAIR WORK COURT – they deal with bullying cases, not just unfair dismissal, file lots of them there and in any other jurisdiction you can find. Or file them yourself:

The topics to be addressed include professional conduct, Preliminary Investigations, Inquiry Committees, and documenting alleged misconduct/incompetence.
Maybe they could open up these sessions to senior staff who were also teachers at one point as well as senior staff from the Dept Health?
